QSI International School of Djibouti acknowledges that all children have the right to safety and protection.  We are dedicated to taking the necessary steps to ensure the well-being of all children under our care and supervision.

The policy recognizes that the welfare and interests of children are paramount in all circumstances. It aims to ensure safety and protection for all children regardless of age, gender, religion or beliefs, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, or socio-economic background.

QSI International School of Djibouti will endeavor to:

·         Establish and maintain an environment where pupils feel safe and secure and know that there are adults within the school who they can talk to if they are worried or in difficulty.

·         Ensure appropriate action is taken in the event of incidences or concerns while maintaining confidentiality, accurate record keeping, and open parental communication.

·         Provide effective management and policies for staff and volunteers through supervision, support, and training.

·         Provide curriculum which will help students develop a good understanding of how to create and maintain a safe environment and as well as developing realistic attitudes towards the responsibilities of adult life.
